Cathy Miyagi is a Senior Specialist on ACL’s “Data-Driven GRC” team, providing solutions-oriented guidance to internal audit and risk management professionals for ACL’s wide network of customers.
Cathy brings experience from the field specifically in corporate finance and risk management. Prior to joining the ACL team, Cathy managed high-profile insolvency cases as part of PwC’s Corporate Advisory and Restructuring practice. She was also a Senior Financial Analyst, providing strategic advice to public sector executives for the British Columbia Liquor Distribution Branch.
At ACL, Cathy has led the enablement sessions for marquee clients in various areas including banking, healthcare, communications, and education. She is dedicated to providing advisory services for ACL’s customers on how best to optimize ACL software (Analytics and GRC). She is responsible for understanding customer needs and implementing effective change management methodologies that lead to successful customer adoption of ACL gear.
Cathy is a Canadian Certified Management Accountant (CPA, CMA), a graduate of the Sauder School of Business (Diploma in Accounting) and also holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of British Columbia.
