It's the perfect time to migrate to the latest version of ACL Analytics and Analytics Exchange. The upcoming end-of-support dates are:
- ACL Analytics v11 - November 15, 2018
- ACL Analytics v12 - February 1, 2019
- ACL Analytics Exchange v5 - February 1, 2019
- ACL Analytics Exchange v6 - May 1, 2019
What does this mean to me?
Your software will continue to work, but after the above dates, ACL will no longer provide technical support or perform any maintenance or security updates for Analytics v11/v12 or Analytics Exchange v5/v6. We advise you to upgrade to the latest version as soon as possible.
What are the benefits of upgrading?
- Take advantage of the latest and greatest features. ACL Analytics v14 arms you with our most powerful analytics product to date, including new features and enhancements such as machine learning commands, additional data connectors, simplified outlier commands, fuzzy data joining, and hashing of sensitive data upon import. - Kick start your robotic process automation journey with ACL Robotics. There's an ACL Robotics edition for everybody. If you’re an ACL Analytics user, automate a single process with our Robotics Professional Edition. Or if you’re an ACL Analytics Exchange user, improve your overall experience with a more mature, easier-to-maintain monitoring program with our Enterprise Edition. This means no more gnarly installation process, less reliance on your IT department when changes need to be made, better control with script versioning and dev mode, and tons of improvements to your user experience. - Security improvements that will make your IT team smile. If your IT team has any questions about how seriously we take data security, check out what we do here: www.acl.com/trust. Share it with your IT department, and ask them how it stacks up with what they do to secure your own systems. With each release, we update all underlying components to ensure we have applied the latest security patches and defect corrections. Think about all the changes we’ve seen in operating systems and security patches since your last update! So yes, even IT will want you to upgrade.
- Zero migration of existing content. There is no migration needed; just open ACL Projects in the new version of ACL Analytics and they are automatically updated. And don’t worry, we keep a copy of your old project, just in case.
- Access to complimentary scripts. We collect commonly used scripts and provide them for free to our customers. With ACL Analytics v14 you can instantly bring this content into your own projects. Explore our ACL ScriptHub library to learn more.
- Global community and training. With ACL Launchpad we provide a community of support and resources to help make you successful. Take advantage of a Q&A forum with industry peers, on-demand training with CPE credits, and much more.
How do I move to the newest version?
Download the latest software version through your ACL Launchpad or provide these instructions to your IT department to access the installer:
- Use your browser to open www.aclgrc.com and log in using your ACL account information. If you do not know your password, click “Reset your Password” or contact ACL Support at [email protected].
- Click "ACL for Windows" menu item to upgrade ACL Analytics or ACL Analytics Exchange v14.
- Click the download button to start downloading the latest version.
- Follow the installation instructions provided online.
