Over the years, ACL has evolved from “the analytics company” into an analyst-recognized risk management, compliance, and audit solution that unites all of these teams to a single platform. And—to continue to evolve our products—we recently acquired Rsam.
During all this evolution and growth, there was one thing that didn’t change: our brand. People still thought of us as “the analytics company.” The ACL brand was no longer communicating all that we had to offer. So a year ago, we started researching and developing a new name and brand to better represent us. We landed on Galvanize.
Galvanize has two meanings that immediately spoke to us – to shock or excite into taking action, or to coat with a protective layer. Join the leaders of Galvanize to hear the whole story behind our name change and the future of our technology.

With over 25 years of experience in software and technology sectors, Laurie has led 12 multimillion-dollar software P&Ls spanning the personal finance, small business accounting, SaaS, ERP, business intelligence, and GRC categories. Since becoming CEO of ACL in 2011, Laurie has successfully pivoted the company from hard sales of software to a software-as-a-service model with over 300 employees and to accolades as one of Canada’s top employers.

Prior to ACL, Dan co-founded advisory firm Linford & Company LLP and Workpapers.com, the first truly cloud-based audit and compliance management system in the market. Under Dan's leadership, Workpapers.com was acquired by ACL in 2011, combining the power of cloud collaboration and "big data" analytics under one market-leading brand. Dan's responsibilities at ACL include executive leadership for the company's strategy, products, marketing, and customer service/support.
