Audit, finance and control professionals face the tremendous challenge of ensuring that their internal financial controls are operating as designed and that business transactions are being processed as prescribed. They need to act as a safety net for the entire organization and identify issues before they turn into large leaks. And while many teams default to sample testing because of time and budget constraints, sample testing provides limited visibility, moderate assurance, and likely fails to uncover omissions or errors.
This was the reality that Amy Karcher and Brandie Llewelyn of Progressive Leasing’s Financial Controls Group faced until they implemented technology to help them stop sample testing. By implementing robotic process automation to provide 100% coverage of their entire dataset, Amy and Brandie are now able to more efficiently and accurately monitor their controls, spot red flags, take corrective action, and measure performance.
Watch this on-demand webinar to discover how Progressive Leasing is improving financial controls monitoring with data-automation by:
- Identifying, informing, and driving remediation workflows around exceptions
- Providing objective oversight of their financial systems
- Easily distilling their data into meaningful, actionable reports with efficient data visualizations
- More easily meeting audit and compliance requirements and improving cross-departmental transparency
